Pet Company provides personalised at-home pet care.

We actually come to your home so you are able to leave your pet in familiar surroundings with all the comforts and smells they are used to. Your pet may require one visit daily or perhaps two. We follow your pet care routine as closely as possible. This of course, includes feeding, watering and exercising and we also spend ‘quality time’ with your pet, just playing, petting and grooming so your pet receives loving attention even while you’re away.

As an added bonus, we keep an eye on your home by bringing in your mail and newspaper, alternating lights, opening and closing curtains and blinds, watering plants - activities that give your home that lived-in look. We’ll even buy fresh milk for the day you return.

We provide you with a Daily Report Card for your pet. During each visit we will fill out the report card to let you know how your pet was and what games we played!

We want to care for and nurture your pets, not just feed them and leave. We set up an initial consultation with you and your pet prior to your departure. At that time we find out everything we need to know to provide you with peace of mind that your pet and home are in safe hands while you’re away. There is no minimum requirement. We will take care of your pet for one day or several weeks - whatever you need!

We have full public liability insurance and we take our business seriously. Pet Company was formed because of our genuine love for animals and our own experiences with finding the right care for our beloved pets during times away from home.
 

About Us

Hi there, Our names are Rebecca and Michael Graham and we would like to take a few moments to introduce ourselves.

We bought Pet Company from Nadia and Rory Taylor in 2008. We are both animal lovers, having owned a variety of pets over the years e.g.: dogs, cats, horses, pigs, chickens and many more but now we have a pug called Frank and a cat called Sniper – both of which we adore!

We previously owned Bath time for Dogs in Auckland for 5 years. Rebecca has also worked in boarding kennels and catteries. She was also an animal control officer for Manukau City Council. As you can see we have had loads of experience in the animal field and look forward to taking on and caring for your beloved pets.

If your dog needs walking, your fish or birds need feeding or your cat just needs someone to say hello to during the day, look no further – you can relax and be rest assured that your bundles of joy will be looked after while you are at work or enjoying your holiday.

DOG WALKING
An Individual walk lets your dog get out of the house and get aerobic exercise which it needs to stay in top shape while getting the individual attention that some animals often crave. This option is also for dogs who are not sociable and don't act well around other dogs. Only your dog is walked.

Group Walk - Your dog is walked to get the aerobic exercise it needs, gets a chance to do it's business and your dog is walked in a group of no more than 6 dogs where it gets to socialize and make friends with the other dogs in the group. When possible your dog is walked with a regular group so that friendships can develop. We go to Madills farm at Mission Bay where they are off leash for the duration of the walk. Group walk - times vary but pickup is usually around 9am with return around 11am-12noon.

PET TRANSPORT
Moving house but find it traumatic travelling with your pet? We will transport your pet for you. (distance limits apply).

VET VISITS
Can't take time off work? Crazy schedule? We will take your pet to the vet and give you a full report about the visit.
